Hello, my name is Alexandra and I am one of the member of NGO project. At first I would like to tell you something about me. I am a student at The Hague University of Applied Sciences studying IDE programme in a beautiful city of The Hague. I came here from my home country Slovakia.
Why have I chosen this programme? I have always went by this words ,, You don´t have to be a genial artist to be a creative artist´´. All the time I am trying to come up with some new creative ideas. I used to move furniture from one place to another ( maybe this is one of my weird strangeness) and I like going to the nature as well. In the nature I am looking for natural materials that I often use for making different indoors accessories. I like to practice my imagination and create new original products by trying to give them new and funny shapes. I am really thankful to my mother who lets me go into this creative world and directed my interest in design and creative work since I was child. This is not the only thing she lets me do. I have been taking piano lessons for couple of years and I am proud of it because winning some different competitions gave me motivation to work hard even if it was very difficult sometimes. But if you want to be good at something you should do your best for it. And at the end somebody will appraise you.
I am a big lover of travelling. I have already visited new places and countries but there are still some I would like to visit one time. Meeting new people, discovering new places and getting new skills make me more happy and open minded. And because of this I decided to study abroad again.
